Short film opening titled "Discover"
In my movie opening, the date and time is screened to start off the opening. Allowing the reader to know what time and date the movie is set. The first shot is of a teenage boy walking home the night after a party. It's half six in the morning and it's just starting to get light, he is on his phone texting his mam saying that he's on his way home from the party when he gets a call from a random number, he answers the phone and it's his friends mam, asking where her son is and when was the last time he saw him. The boy says he hadn't seen him since nine o'clock the previous night and that he'll let her know if he sees him. He takes a short cut to his house where he passes an abandoned building, he see's a backpack on the floor that looks similar to his friends so he picks it up and see's his friends ID is in it. He carry's on walking with his friends backpack and he has a look in the abandoned house. Once he enters the abandoned house he looks around, he notices blood on the steps so he walks up and see's more blood around and smashed glass. He continues to check around the area and he finds his friends wallet, he notices that some of his friends belongings are in a trail leading towards the forest. he begins walking to the forest and finds his friends jacket on the floor with blood on it. He rushes towards the forest where he notices parts of his friends shirt on the floor, torn up and covered in blood and rips. He looks around the forest until he spots a body in the distance, he rushes over to discover that it's his friends body. He starts to check his friends body and he notices his friend has a stab wound in his stomach from a glass bottle. The boy looks down at his hands to notice there's glass stuck in his own hands that's came out of nowhere. He looks in his bag to get his phone out to ring his mam and he notices his friends bank card and half a glass bottle is in his bag. He starts to panic and gets more flashbacks from the previous night. He hears police sirens.
